The primary purpose of the scholarship fund is to assist active ushers of the Interdenominational Church Ushers Association of Akron (I.C.U.A.) who are college students. FUNDS ARE MADE AVAILABLE BY PERSONAL DONATIONS, THE ANNUAL BANQUET AND THE ANNUAL MUSICAL. A commitment to our youth today will help shape tomorrow’s world.A Scholarship Committee screens those applicants who are requesting assistance. After the applications have been reviewed and guidelines have been met, a recommendation is made to the membership of the I.C.U.A Alkron.
THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES MUST BE MET:

Recipient’s church must be a member of the I.C.U.A. | |

Student must be an active member of the Church’s Usher Board | |
|
Student must have a 2.5 GPA from High School and maintain a 2.5 while attending college. | |
|
All money will be sent directly to the College or University that the student is attending. | |
|
All applications be mailed directly to the Scholarship Chairman. | |
|
Scholarship recipient must submit a copy or Grade Sheet at the end of each Semester, along with a letter to the Scholarship Chairman keeping the organization updated on their scholastic progress. | |
|
There will be only one Scholarship award per Church. | |
